13.00   Visit Home Industries  Visit the famous silk and cotton cottage industries at sankampheng disctrict Borsang umbrella village teakwood carving lacqerware silverware bronzeware and celaton pottery.Borsang is known throughout Thailand as the ?Umbrella Village?. The village is situated north of Chiang Mai along the Sankhampaeng Road where it meets the Doi Saket Road about 10kms out of town.Borsang is famed for handmade parasols made from bamboo and rice paper. The village has made umbrellas for generations and the art has been handed down through a small number of families that live here and is said to have originated from a Thai Buddhist monk who learned the practice on a pilgrimage to Burma.The true beauty of the umbrellas is in the exquisite pictures and designs that decorate them. Delicately hand painted, some are works of art and they make wonderful keepsakes and gifts

DAY 02 DOI INTHANON NATIONAL PARK (B,L,D)

08.30  Visit  Doi inthanond national park the highest mountain in Thailand(8,500 feet above sea level) the meo and white karen hll tribe village  and Mae klang water fall ? vachirathran waterfalls.The geographical features of the National Park consists of high mountains, including Doi Inthanon, which is the highest mountaintop in Thailand (2,565 meters above the sea level), followed by Doi Huamodluang (2,330 meters above the sea level). Doi Inthanon is the source of many rivers including Mae Klang, Mae Pakong, Mae Pon, Mae Hoi, Mae Ya, Mae Chaem, Mae Khan, and being part of Ping River, where the Bhumipol Dam is situated and generating the electrical power.Since the National Park is located at 2,565 meters above the sea level, it has cold weather and high humidity throughout the year, particularly on the top of the National Park. In winter, the temperature at the National Park is below 0?ac. And in summer, despite hot weather in central Chiang Mai and nearby districts, it is still freezing on the top of Doi Inthanon and tourists should be prepared with thick clothes.

DAY 3 ELEPHANT SAFARI - BAMBOO RAFTING - YOUR COUNTRY

08h30 Meeting at your hotel with your guide. Departure by van/car to the Maetaman valley (45 minutes drive).
09h30 Arrive at the Maetaman elephant camp located beside the Mae-Tang river. The camp is professionally run and well maintained. The staff take good care of the 30 elephants inhabiting the camp. The show is interesting, especially for children. Elephant?s back riding in the surrounding valley.
12h00 ? 13h00 Buffet lunch at the camp.
13h30 Experience a fun ?bamboo rafting? descent, sitting on bamboo rafts which are steered by experienced locals.
15h00 Drive back to Chiangmai, stopping at the ?Orchid Farm and nursery? for a visit.
17.00 Transfer to Chiang Mai air port via Your Country
